Headlight Training Stand Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-EELE-13768
The purpose of a training stand with exposed wiring,
switches, and measurement points is to teach students core electrical skills
without the complexity of a full vehicle.
1. Circuit Operation
Students learn the function of each circuit path:
- Standing
Light: Tracing the circuit from the Headlight Switch (S1)
to the Standing Light Bulbs (SL L/R), typically through a
lower-amperage path.
- Low
Beam/High Beam: Understanding how the Dimmer Switch (S2)
switches the power between the two filaments (Low Beam and High
Beam) inside the headlight bulb (H).
- Turn
Signal: Observing how the Flasher Unit (FL) creates an
intermittent signal before the Turn Signal Switch (TS) directs that
signal to either the left or right Turn Signal Bulbs (TS L/R).
2. Electrical Measurement & Diagnosis
The (Meas. Point) and (Jumper) terminals are
critical for practicing troubleshooting.

Measurement Type |
Connection Used |
Procedure |
Educational Goal |
|
Voltage Drop |
(Meas. Point) |
Measure the voltage at a component. A significant
drop (e.g., less than 12V) indicates excess resistance in the wire or
switch leading up to that point. |
Pinpoint bad connections or corroded terminals. |
|
Current Draw |
(Jumper) |
Remove the jumper and install an ammeter in series. |
Determine if the circuit is drawing the correct amount of amperage.
High current suggests a short circuit or wrong bulb; low current
suggests poor continuity. |
|
Resistance/Continuity |
(Jumper) or Component Connectors |
Disconnect the power, remove a jumper, and use the ohmmeter
function. |
Test the resistance of a specific wire segment, switch, or
bulb filament to confirm continuity (a complete circuit). |
