DESCRIPTION:-

Spring type scale for infants, 5kg x 25g

Materials:-

Mechanics and other vital parts must be made of rust proof materials;

ferrous parts shall be treated with a rust inhibitor against corrosion ,

plastic parts shall be UV resistant, preferably acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) or similar.

Hooks: stainless steel or high-grade galvanized steel

Dial: metal or plastic (ABS or similar)

Body: metal (stainless steel or epoxy coated steel) or plastic (ABS or similar)

Calibration screw: stainless steel or plastic (ABS or similar)

Body and mechanics must be splash proof, shock resistant and light-weight.

Design must allow rough handling.

Smooth surface/finishing must allow easy cleaning/disinfection.

Easy maintenance and repair in low tech settings must be possible.
