Use caution when standing on the platform.
Stand next to young students. Weight must be evenly distributed for smooth operation. Stand on both feet, with feet on either side of center.
The Rotating Platform can also be used with hand weights to study rotational inertia, conservation of angular momentum, and action-reaction.
Operation will not be smooth if the platform is very cold.
The oil must be at room temperature to lubricate properly.
As the weight on the platform increases, more force will be required to rotate.
