Ground Water Flow Unit Demo Apparatus (.99m x .49m x. 235m) Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : SCL-CELE-14178
Overview
The Ground Water Flow Unit is a bench-mounted
training system designed to provide a clear and practical demonstration of hydrological
principles governing groundwater flow.
The apparatus enables visualization of hydraulic gradients, flow patterns,
and well interaction within a permeable medium, allowing users to study
fundamental groundwater behavior and flow characteristics.
The unit consists of a fiber-reinforced
plastic (FRP) sand tank, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance,
mounted on a sturdy steel support frame. The tank is filled with a layer
of fine, washed sand to simulate aquifer conditions.
Inlet and outlet connections with individual flow control valves at each
end enable control of water levels and flow direction.
A series of 19 pressure tapping points
at the tank base are connected to a 19-tube piezometer panel located at
the front of the apparatus, providing precise measurement and visualization of
the groundwater table profile.
Two well tubes are incorporated into the base for abstraction and
dewatering experiments.
Water is supplied from a hydraulics bench
or a laboratory cold-water tap.
A detailed Operation & Maintenance Manual is supplied to guide
setup, experiments, and data analysis.
