Technical Specifications:
Low range Chlorine 2-in-1 Rapid Test Strips for simultaneous testing of both Free Chlorine and pH in Drinking Water. Simple Dip-and-Read procedure for results in seconds.
For testing of Free Chlorine (0-10ppm) and pH (6.0-9.0) in the water with the following scales:
Free Chlorine: 0.0, 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0, 6.0, 10.0ppm
pH: 6.0, 6.4, 6.8, 7.2, 7.6, 7.8, 8.2, 9.0
All of the reagents are impregnated on the test strip pad, and no external chemicals are needed to perform the water quality test. The test strip is resistant to interference from Monochloramines. Results are comparable to technologies using soluble DPD1 & pH tablets/powders with simple visual block, pool or disc Comparator.
This test strip technology is TMB (Tetramethyl Benzidine) based. It shows equivalent results to DPD comparison technologies (Around 99% certified correlation with DPD), being drinking water compliant. The range of the free chlorine test pad allows both low and high levels of chlorine to be monitored.
The indicator for pH is Bromothymol Blue pH, having easy to read blue colours.
It is a simple, easy to use test strip for visually testing chlorine and pH of the water, with a simple Dip and Read procedure yielding rapid results (approximately 30 seconds).
